The PTI’s have planned out a sports curriculum which caters to the physical, mental and spiritual needs of a growing child. Through yoga, we aim to develop concentration and focus alongside stress relief and inner peace. Yoga lessens the aggression and releases the pent-up energy of today’s child. Aerobics help in keeping the body fit and shaping it as well as developing reflexes. Apart from these, other activities include various ball games, hula hoops tricks, swings, races and prop plays.
“The most important key to achieving great success is to decide upon your goal, take risk, get started, and Move!” – John Wooden
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go!
Developing sportsmanship through healthy competition is one of important goals of our system. To make our students aware of benefits of refreshing games we had an Annual Race Day on 5th Feb 2014 at Aga khan ground. Such activities are not only important for social, mental and physical development of children, but they also consolidate teacher-student relations, it develops confidence as well as give a chance to display ones full potential. This mega event was an output of both our faculty members and our students, and specially the sports committee of our Junior Campus.
Everyone displayed full enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Different colorful races, aerobics display, formation of MSN, tribute to the mothers, relay race, medals distribution, vote of thanks and victory run were the main items of that day.
